I am a Finance & Operations executive with 20+ years of experience spanning audit, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial finance, sales operations, strategy and regional CFO leadership. I have spent most of that career at Dell Technologies, moving progressively closer to where financial analysis becomes a business decision: from the factory floor and supply chain, through Finance & Sales Operations across ~100 markets, to my current role as Sales CFO for UK & CEEMETA.

That journey shaped how I think about Finance. Finance should not sit at the edge of the business explaining what happened. It should be in the room while choices are still being made.

My professional world sits at the intersection of commercial finance, business operations, strategy, transformation and leadership. I enjoy environments where information is incomplete, trade-offs are real and Finance can improve not only the answer, but the quality of the question.

Somewhere along the way, I also became much more interested in people. Leading across countries and cultures taught me that analytically correct solutions can still fail if we ignore incentives, trust, emotions and context.
That is why I increasingly think about leadership through three lenses:
THINK — curiosity, evidence and clarity.
FEEL — empathy, awareness and connection.
DO — agency, experimentation and action.
Good decisions need all three.

This thinking sits behind CaringGeek, my writing platform exploring leadership, psychology, technology, culture and the choices people make when there is no obvious answer. I write and speak about the evolving role of Finance, Commercial Finance, Business Operations, AI and transformation, decision-making, leadership and emotional intelligence — particularly where the analytical and human sides of organizations meet.

The questions that interest me most usually sit between those topics.
- What happens to Finance when AI can do more Finance work?
- How do leaders combine high performance with empathy?
- How much of good leadership is knowing — and how much is noticing?

Curiosity, reflection and connecting seemingly unrelated dots are much more my thing.
